San Juan Islands - Discover Something New

Northwest of Seattle, near the USA/Canada border, there is an archipelago named the San Juan islands. San Juan County is a community of bedrock islands in the rain-shadow of the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island.


The county is the smallest in Washington State (175 sq. miles) but offers the most marine shoreline (408 miles) of any county in the contiguous United States.
