On the southern coast of Australia is one of the world’s most beautiful scenic road trips I’ve traveled. The Great Ocean Road runs alongside the coastline of the Indian Ocean in Victoria, Australia. I’ve made this trip several times over the years, and its amazing views along the coast is still vivid in my memory.
Manly is a fascinating suburb of Sydney due to its geography. Its commercial centre sits just two miles north of Sydney Cove’s North Head on a narrow land bridge. This large sand spit keeps the calm waters of Sydney Harbour separated from Manly’s famous Pacific Ocean beach.
Yellowstone was the first National Park to be created anywhere in the world. It is huge in area – 63 miles north/south and 54 miles east/west as the crow flies.
Are you a travel enthusiast? I love to travel. There are still many places on my bucket list to visit and there is one I hope to cross off this summer. Key West, Florida is much more accessible than the popular Caribbean island destinations. It has the same feel the Caribbean has but, technically is […]
Scarborough Bluffs Beach stretches for about 15 km along the Lake Ontario shore, from the Eastern Beaches of Toronto in the west, to East Point Park in the east. There are spectacular views of the bluffs and Lake Ontario with trails, beaches, gardens, sports and recreation facilities and amenities available.

(Chip Ward) Sure, Maryland is home to some of America’s most beautiful beaches, but on a road trip across the Eastern Shore you’ll also encounter cool small towns, forward-thinking cuisine, and some funky off-the-beaten-path must-sees. By Darley Newman, I recently […]
Isn’t it time to make travel a priority? Time to trade in travel dreams for memories? Time to exchange “have-tos” for “must-sees?” Globus recently asked Americans these very questions (and more). The results? Surprising! Unlike similar studies that have placed a spotlight on Americans’ vacation deficit, Globus’ NEW “Time to Tour” survey*indicates that we favor […]
Holland America Line has launched a campaign to promote itself as Seattle’s hometown cruise line. It’s a smart move that dovetails with an increasing emphasis on local as well as national marketing of cruise brands. HAL won’t be advertising itself that way in Omaha or San Antonio, said President Orlando Ashford. But the greater Seattle […]
The 2015 summer in North America was awesome, and then again, destructive and deadly. In Seattle we had record hot days and temperatures. But we also are still having some of the worst fires across the state.
